About the position
The position serves as the main point of contact for the administration of large corporate credits held by the Global Credit loan trading desk at Bank of America. The role involves providing premium client service, managing relationships with internal business partners and external clients, and ensuring accurate settlements and servicing of loans. The candidate will also be responsible for training team members, overseeing processes, and resolving discrepancies related to loan documentation and transactions.
Responsibilities
- Validation of loan documentation for accurate trade settlements
- Validation of loan commitments, interest payments, and fee payments
- Manage trade settlements in internal systems
- Report monitoring and reconciliations
- Train the team on various procedures, policies, and processes
- Provide supervisory oversight on various processes
- Input wire instructions while attending to dual controls
- Analysis and resolution of operational problems
- Involvement in ad hoc projects for new processes or industry initiatives
- Breaks investigation and resolution.
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in trade reconciliation on transaction management or operations within financial or corporate settings
- Excellent communication skills and proficiency with numbers/calculations
- Ability to work under pressure in a team environment
- Ability to liaise with all levels of the firm and people with different experiences and backgrounds
- Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised
- Knowledge of Operational Risk
- Strong Excel skills
