About the position

The Assistant Site Coordinator at Marvin Elementary School plays a crucial role in supporting after-school programs by working directly with students and staff. Responsibilities

• Welcome staff, kids, and parents to the program at the end of the school day.
• Ensure programs are being well-led and that safety is paramount.
• Coach staff and guide their growth.
• Check in with school staff to keep programming in sync.
• Communicate with parents, keeping them updated on programs and their child's well-being.

Requirements

• 5+ years experience in after-school programming operations and administrative skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with kids, parents, and teachers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with all levels of staff.
• Professional attitude, commitment to integrity, confidentiality, and professional discretion.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Docs, and common operating systems.
• Completion of 48+ college credit units or passing an academic proficiency exam.
• Current TB test, Live Scan background check, and Covid-19 vaccination.
• CPR and first aid training certification or proof of certification within 12 months.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred.
