About the position

The Maryland State Ad Agency is seeking a Media Buyer to oversee the development, execution, and management of media strategies and buys across various platforms, including broadcast, digital, and social media. This full-time position involves monitoring campaign performance, collaborating with team members and clients, and maintaining relationships with media vendors to achieve advertising goals.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and manage campaigns on media platforms including Broadcast, Cable, Public Television, Google Ads, YouTube, Meta, LinkedIn, Snapchat, CTV/OTT, and streaming audio.
  • Monitor campaign performance and optimize as needed.
  • Collaborate with internal team members and clients to achieve campaign goals.
  • Contribute to final reports and stay up to date on industry trends and best practices.
  • Research target audience media consumption.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with media vendors.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university.
  • Two years of professional experience with programmatic media planning and buying campaigns.
