The Refractory Installer position at Aerotek involves the tear-out and replacement of high-temperature furnace linings in industrial manufacturing facilities. Responsibilities
- Tear out and replace high-temperature furnace linings
- Travel to different projects daily, primarily in Grafton and Worcester
- Apply craftsman techniques in masonry, welding, carpentry, and insulating
- Work in industrial settings
- Follow OSHA and MSHA safety rules
- Work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and 10-12 hour days as needed
- Wear PPE including a respirator
- Work in confined spaces and on scaffolding at heights
