Singleton Schreiber, LLP is seeking an experienced, motivated, and detail-oriented paralegal to join our Mass Torts team. This position is fast-paced and supports a team of attorneys doing regular litigation in state and federal courts. The role involves collaboration with other paralegals and case assistants, ensuring that all aspects of case management are handled efficiently and effectively. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are critical to the success of the litigation process, including managing electronic information, document management, and document review. This includes bates-stamping, scanning, coding, and searching in complex litigation. The paralegal will also be tasked with creating privilege logs, preparing trial exhibits, and uploading and updating client information into a case management database. In addition to these responsibilities, the paralegal will communicate regularly with clients, review and organize client documents, and be responsible for court filings. This includes propounding and responding to discovery, noticing depositions, and ensuring compliance with the rules of civil procedure in both state and federal courts. The paralegal will also be expected to identify, track, and manage case-related deadlines using an electronic calendaring system. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of litigation processes and be familiar with E-Discovery and various law programs.
