About the position
The Massage Therapist at Tamarac Wellness Center is responsible for delivering high-quality massage and bodywork services to enhance the health and well-being of clients. This role involves utilizing various techniques and applications, including touch, pressure, and movement, to provide outstanding customer service and promote relaxation and recovery.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality massage and bodywork services.
- Utilize touch, pressure, and movement techniques to restore health and well-being.
- Apply water, heat, cold, lubrication, salt scrub, body wrap, and other topical applications as needed.
- Ensure outstanding customer service during all interactions.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Vocational/Technical Graduate of a recognized school for Massage Therapy required.
- Previous work experience in massage therapy required.
- State of Michigan Massage Therapist License required.
- State of Michigan Driver's License required upon hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC required within 90 days.
