ICF is seeking a Master Data Governance Analyst to join our Corporate IT team in a hybrid role, requiring 1-2 days per week in our Reston, Virginia office. This non-managerial position is pivotal in establishing policies, standards, processes, and tools that define critical master data for ICF, ensuring a single, trustworthy source of truth. The analyst will implement processes to manage data throughout its lifecycle, establishing accountability and ownership for critical master data to enhance data quality and resolve discrepancies, ultimately achieving quantifiable results. The Master Data Governance Analyst will be responsible for creating and governing a master data governance implementation roadmap that supports future process and data improvement efforts. This role involves improving the existing Master Data Governance structure with best practices, ensuring clear accountability and ownership for the stewardship of the company's critical data assets. A thorough understanding of ICF's business processes, ERP systems, and datasets is essential, as these will drive data governance activities around existing, new, and emerging master data. The analyst will maintain an inventory of data elements across systems, interfaces, and exchanges, assessing upstream and downstream impacts. Acting as a liaison between business and functional areas and technology, the analyst will ensure that data-related business requirements are clearly defined and communicated. Coordination of meetings and workshops with data stewards and owners will be necessary to address technology gaps, review current state process issues, and improve data quality metrics and access controls. Additionally, the analyst will develop data governance dashboards and metrics for reporting to leadership and aid in resolving data quality problems through effective strategies in collaboration with subject matter experts and data stewards.
