About the position

The MDM Team Lead at McKesson plays a crucial role in managing complex escalations, training new team members, and leading projects focused on process automation and integration. This position emphasizes exceptional customer service for all MDM stakeholders and involves significant stakeholder engagement, change leadership, and quality control initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to manage and resolve escalations, projects, and issue resolution/investigation.
  • Communicate and orchestrate change management around cross-functional processes between business units.
  • Maintain and create positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Combine complex data to report and present metrics around stakeholder engagement, activities, and process improvements.
  • Lead stakeholder calls and identify process issues for resolution.
  • Work with business units to identify areas for improvement and automation.
  • Resolve complex problems impacting multiple functional business units.
  • Identify MDM transformation initiatives and assist in developing reports and analysis.
  • Serve as the point of contact for all customer onboardings.
  • Ensure compliance with Data Governance initiatives through process implementation.
  • Provide feedback on processes impacting compliance and data governance initiatives.
  • Conduct ongoing training and education for team members and peers.
  • Monitor quality control metrics to identify areas for improvement in Master Data Delivery.
  • Create, audit, and review SOPs to ensure accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • 2+ years' experience in master data or data governance, with process improvement experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical ability and attention to detail.
  • Intermediate/advanced problem-solving and root cause analysis skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to lead multiple team members through competing deadlines.
  • Ability to work under limited supervision on multiple tasks.
  • Professional conduct and discretion with confidentiality.
  • Intermediate/advanced knowledge in MS products (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Proven ability to manage projects efficiently with strong attention to detail.
