About the position

The Master Data Management Architect at Brinker International is responsible for designing, configuring, and developing business solutions using various Master Data Management (MDM) technologies. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams to understand MDM requirements and challenges, and to create robust, sustainable, and flexible designs that enable world-class MDM execution. The architect will lead efforts in defining and implementing successful MDM solutions, ensuring integration of disparate data models into coherent enterprise data models.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and create overall master data solution architectures, component designs, system landscapes, governance workflows, and systems integration and implementations for specific business solutions.
  • Integrate disparate data models into coherent enterprise data models.
  • Create data dictionaries and business glossaries to document data lineages, definitions, and metadata for all business-critical master data domains.
  • Define, document, and estimate requirements for enterprise master data applications including data, workflow, logical processes, and system environments.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their master data requirements and translate them into scalable MDM architectures.
  • Produce solution design artifacts including technical estimates, system designs, sequence diagrams, and data models.
  • Partner with architects and technical team members to develop roadmaps and strategies to support KPIs.
  • Consult with teams on initiatives and provide tactical direction regarding architecture considerations on legacy solutions.
  • Provide expert guidance on master data governance strategies and data management principles.
  • Define data migration strategies and oversee data migration activities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Master Data Management Architect or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of MDM technologies and best practices.
  • Experience in designing and implementing MDM solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams effectively.
  • Expertise in data governance frameworks and data management principles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with cloud-based MDM solutions.
  • Familiarity with data migration strategies and activities.
  • Knowledge of data integration tools and techniques.
