About the position

The Master Planner position at Anistar Technologies is a critical role that provides planning and scheduling support to meet multiple mission requirements across various locations. The selected candidate will serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and mentor, assisting in the development and maintenance of components of the Program Integrated Master Schedule. This includes proposal schedule development and reviewing and supporting the Statement of Work and Basis of Estimate development. The Master Planner will advise the Program Management team on potential contractual impacts and critical events that may affect delivery or cost, ensuring effective communication and cross-coordination with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in utilizing Critical Path Methodology for schedule network development and analysis. They will also develop and refine their knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM). This position requires interaction across various program functional organizations, including engineering, procurement, contracts, business management, and production. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for working effectively in a team environment. The candidate must be capable of preparing status reports, metrics, and presentations as required. A self-starter with hands-on experience in Program Planning and Scheduling is essential, as additional responsibilities will be assigned as needed. Key functions of the position include serving as the PMO/Program Interface, leading proposal and business rhythm execution, tool integration, acting as a Technical Scope SME, and overseeing product quality. The Master Planner will have the skill set to act on behalf of the manager, although they will not be the lead planner for the program. Mentoring the team will also be a significant aspect of this role.

Responsibilities

  • Provide planning and scheduling support to meet multiple mission requirements across various locations.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the Program Integrated Master Schedule.
  • Support proposal schedule development and review the Statement of Work and Basis of Estimate development.
  • Advise the Program Management team on potential contractual impacts and critical events affecting delivery or cost.
  • Ensure effective communication and cross-coordination with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
  • Utilize Critical Path Methodology for schedule network development and analysis.

Requirements

  • Experience with Critical Path methodology.
  • Experience with Deltek Open Plan Scheduling Tool.
  • Experience in schedule control processes, proposal development, internal and external audits, and project management integration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
  • Experience providing risk and opportunity analysis input.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working independently across Technical Teams to develop a basic understanding of the technical product.
  • Experience with Capture, Research & Development, and Production Scheduling Requirements and dependencies between functions.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).
