About the position

The Master Planner position at Cenergy International Services is a critical role that provides planning and scheduling support to meet multiple mission requirements across various locations. The selected candidate will assist in the development and maintenance of components of the Program Integrated Master Schedule, which includes proposal schedule development and reviewing/supporting the Statement of Work and Basis of Estimate development. This role requires advising the Program Management team on potential contractual impacts and critical events that may affect delivery or cost. Effective communication and cross-coordination with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) are essential to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned and informed. The candidate will utilize Critical Path Methodology to develop and analyze schedule networks, and will also refine their knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM). This position involves interaction with various program functional organizations, including engineering, procurement, contracts, business management, and production. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to work effectively in a team environment. The candidate must be capable of preparing status reports, metrics, and presentations as required. A self-starter with hands-on experience in Program Planning and Scheduling is essential, as additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed. The main functions of this position include serving as a PMO/Program Interface, leading proposal and business rhythm execution, tool integration, acting as a Technical Scope Subject Matter Expert (SME), and overseeing product quality. The candidate should possess the skillset to act on behalf of the manager, although they will not be the lead planner for the program. Mentoring the team is also a key aspect of this role, ensuring that knowledge and best practices are shared across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide planning and scheduling support to meet multiple mission requirements across various locations.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of the Program Integrated Master Schedule.
  • Support proposal schedule development and review the Statement of Work and Basis of Estimate development.
  • Advise the Program Management team on potential contractual impacts and critical events affecting delivery or cost.
  • Ensure effective communication and cross-coordination with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
  • Utilize Critical Path Methodology for schedule network development and analysis.
  • Develop and refine knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Interact with various program functional organizations such as engineering, procurement, contracts, business management, and production.
  • Prepare status reports, metrics, and presentations as required.
  • Act as a PMO/Program Interface and lead proposal and business rhythm execution.
  • Integrate tools and act as a Technical Scope SME.
  • Oversee product quality and mentor the planning team.

Requirements

  • Experience with Critical Path Methodology.
  • Experience with Deltek Open Plan Scheduling Tool.
  • Experience in schedule control processes, proposal development, internal and external audits, and project management integration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project.
  • Experience providing risk and opportunity analysis input.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working independently across Technical Teams to develop a basic understanding of the technical product.
  • Experience with Capture, Research & Development, and Production Scheduling Requirements and dependencies between functions.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).
