About the position

The Master Production Scheduler at Rockwell Automation is responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling the monthly master schedule, which is crucial for driving the forecast for purchased materials. This role involves close collaboration with Demand Managers and Production Control Analysts to ensure that manufacturing plans align with global company objectives, focusing on customer service, resource utilization, and inventory management. The position is based in Richland Center, WI, and reports to the Master Production Scheduler Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and control the monthly master schedule.
  • Work with Production & Inventory Control Managers to manage short and long-term capacities.
  • Execute rough cut capacity planning at the work center level and across business units.
  • Prepare manufacturing plans for orders to be executed in alignment with plant capacity and material availability.
  • Monitor inputs for capacity planning to ensure accuracy.
  • Coordinate with the S&OP team regarding load, capacity, and revenue target alignment.
  • Execute date management of pull-in and push-out according to business requirements.
  • Balance and coordinate manufacturing orders with Buyers/Planners based on material and capacity availability.
  • Communicate actively with Customer Care and PMO regarding order priority management.
  • Understand the impact of master scheduling on plant financials in collaboration with plant Finance.
  • Execute health checks to maintain SAP system accuracy and accountability.
  • Track, analyze, and report pertinent KPIs and suggest plant-specific improvement activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Legal authorization to work in the US is required.

Nice-to-haves

  • 2+ years of Supply Chain experience in procurement, planning, scheduling, etc.
  • Experience with ERP Systems, preferably SAP
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
