About the position

The Master Scheduler at LISI Aerospace is responsible for coordinating and prioritizing the activities of the Production Planning team to enhance customer service and shop floor productivity while managing inventory levels. This role involves effective communication of production plans, capacity planning, and ensuring that production throughput is monitored across all factories. The Master Scheduler will also manage a team of Production Planners and interact with various departments to optimize operations and meet customer demands.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and prioritize the activities of the Production Planning team.
• Communicate the production plan to production teams effectively.
• Establish capacity plans and forecasts for review during the SIOP process.
• Develop and implement production control monitoring tools and capacity analysis tools.
• Determine and communicate lead times to the sales department and ensure ERP tools are updated.
• Monitor production throughput activities in all factories.
• Manage a team of Production Planners to optimize customer service and shop floor productivity.
• Prepare master schedules based on sales inputs and customer demands.
• Analyze customer backlog and ensure delivery requirements are met.
• Provide training to production planners on the ERP system.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Access.
• Intermediate knowledge of VBA and production planning concepts.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to utilize forecasting techniques.

Nice-to-haves

• APICS or ISM certification is a plus.
• Working knowledge of relevant engineering standards.
