About the position

The Master Seat Builder (Aviation Interior Craftsperson) at SEGULA TECHNOLOGIES is responsible for the fabrication, installation, refurbishment, and modification of aircraft interior equipment and furnishings. This role requires adherence to safety policies and procedures while ensuring high-quality workmanship in a timely manner. Responsibilities

• Adhere to Bombardier General Work Requirements for Factory, Shop, and/or Hanger positions.
• Comply with environmental health/safety policies and procedures, and participate in 5-S activities.
• Fabricate, install, refurbish, and modify aircraft interior equipment and furnishings.
• Perform and document work according to appropriate manuals and regulations.
• Conduct mechanical and electrical removals and installations.
• Assist with maintenance at off-site locations as needed.
• Clean aircraft as required.
• Assist with other maintenance disciplines.

Requirements

• Experience building aircraft seats or luxury automobile/boat seats.
• Interiors experience on aircraft upholstery, including soft goods experience and upholstery removal and installation.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to interpret and work with mechanical engineering drawings (preferred).
• Basic PC skills (preferred).
• Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form regarding individual and aircraft status (preferred).
