About the position

Vertex Security is seeking a Master Security System Technician to oversee projects, manage installations, and ensure quality control. This full-time role is ideal for a skilled technician with expertise in relays and networks, looking to advance their career in a stable environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee company's projects and ensure quality control.
• Train staff and customers on security systems.
• Manage installations and service calls, collaborating with sales and operations.
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on various equipment and systems.
• Promote and maintain good customer relations to assist with contract retention.
• Seek opportunities for change orders.

Requirements

• Three plus years of experience installing and/or servicing intercoms, security cameras, and access control systems.
• Basic understanding of electronics and wiring, as well as local and national codes.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings.
• Valid US Driver's license with a clean record is a must.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with co-workers, management, and customers.
• OSHA 30 + SST certification.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience as a service technician (3 years preferred).
• Technical project management experience.
