About the position
The Master Social Worker (MSW) position at Advance Nursing Services involves providing clinical and case management leadership to support homeless families and individuals. The role focuses on delivering therapeutic services, conducting assessments, and facilitating community integration to empower clients on their journey to stable housing.
Responsibilities
- Provide strong clinical and case management leadership.
- Maintain the highest quality provision of direct individual and group therapeutic and case management services.
- Complete Adult Initial Assessment, Discharges, and Progress Notes.
- Collaborate in the development and provision of clinical trainings.
- Assist in involving patients in daily activities and scheduled appointments, budgeting, facilitating socialization, health and housing maintenance, community integration, and achieving life recovery.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work (MSW).
- At least 3 years of experience working with marginalized populations.
- Experience working with the homeless, substance abuse, and mental health/dual diagnosis populations.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
- CPR Certification.
