Responsibilities

• Daily management and leadership of experienced technicians.
• Diagnose and repair all incoming vehicle problems correctly and efficiently.
• Dispatch jobs to appropriate technicians.
• Keep detailed records of all work performed, including service notes, parts, fluids, and time associated with each vehicle.
• Communicate daily with the parts department to order and coordinate incoming parts.
• Provide daily updates to service writers regarding repair schedules and progress.
• Test drive vehicles to ensure proper functioning.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum two years' experience in automotive service.
• ASE certification recommended but not required with adequate experience.
• Bumper-to-bumper automotive knowledge and skills.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must be computer literate with experience in software, cell phones, and tablet systems.
• Excellent reading and mathematics skills.
• Ability to lift over 50 pounds and work on feet for extended periods.
• Must pass pre-employment testing (background and drug test).
• Valid driver's license.
• Positive, friendly attitude with a customer service mentality.
• Organized with time management skills.
• Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
• Proven mechanical knowledge.
