About the position
Thriveworks Counseling is seeking individuals pursuing Massachusetts State Licensure as a LICSW in Cambridge, MA. This position offers a unique opportunity to join a clinician-founded national private practice group dedicated to helping clients live happy and successful lives. The role emphasizes client accessibility, integrity, and quality care, with a focus on supporting clinicians to excel in their specialized roles. The position allows for a hybrid work model after a probationary period, combining in-office and remote work.
Responsibilities
- Conduct intakes and diagnose clients according to the current DSM under a licensed supervisor.
- Provide counseling services to clients, focusing on treating depression and anxiety.
- Maintain a full clinical caseload, typically established within the first 30-45 days.
- Participate in monthly in-house professional development and case consultation groups.
- Work collaboratively with a support team for scheduling, billing, and client services.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved 60-credit hour program.
- Graduate or post-graduate work experience in a counseling setting treating depression and anxiety.
- Experience independently conducting intakes and diagnosing under a licensed supervisor.
- Full-time availability (30 hours/week) with 25 client visits and 5 hours of administrative time.
