About the position
Thriveworks Counseling is seeking individuals pursuing Massachusetts State Licensure as a LICSW in Quincy, MA. This position emphasizes client accessibility, integrity, and quality care, allowing clinicians to focus on their primary job of providing therapy. The role offers a hybrid work model after a probationary period and includes a supportive team culture with opportunities for professional development.
Responsibilities
- Conduct intakes and diagnose clients according to the current DSM under a licensed supervisor.
- Provide therapy to clients, focusing on treating depression and anxiety.
- Maintain a full clinical caseload, typically established within the first 30-45 days.
- Participate in group and individual clinical supervision sessions.
- Collaborate with a support team for scheduling, billing, and client services.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved 60-credit hour program.
- Graduate or post-graduate work experience in a counseling setting treating depression and anxiety.
- Experience independently conducting intakes and diagnosing under a licensed supervisor.
- Full-time availability (30 hours/week) with flexibility in scheduling.
