About the position
The Master's Level Social Worker will provide intensive, evidence-based therapy for families with children aged five to adolescents, primarily in their homes and communities. The role emphasizes family therapy and requires a commitment to learning and implementing the Functional Family Therapy model. The position is full-time and involves working primarily in the afternoons and evenings.
Responsibilities
- Provide intensive, evidence-based therapy for families with children aged five to adolescents.
- Conduct therapy sessions primarily in the family's home and community.
- Facilitate individual and some group therapy work.
- Implement the Functional Family Therapy model after receiving training.
- Work with families in New Castle County, Delaware.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related discipline required.
- License eligibility (LCSW, LPCMH, and LMFT) is required.
- Current clinical license is desired.
- Experience with home visits and comfort level with conducting home visits is required.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings, is required.
- Strong working knowledge of computers and applications is necessary.
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
