The Material Control Analyst is responsible for providing accurate inventory information for company-controlled material stock, ensuring the smooth flow of materials from inventory to the production line. This role involves monitoring and resolving issues related to material handling and inventory accuracy, while adhering to health, safety, and quality standards.

  • Support the Gantry receipt process from Forklift Operator entry into Trailer through to pallet putaway complete in Inventory Home Location.
  • Monitor, correct, and escalate issues that do not meet First Pass Yield Accuracy expectations.
  • Communicate directly with TESLA Vision Control Team for escalated issues related to Gantry receipts.
  • Correct internal issues after the first pallet unload to ensure uninterrupted operations for remaining pallets.
  • Communicate with Forklift Unload/Putaway Drivers to resolve issues and ensure accurate material feeding into Inventory.
  • Maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in all work.
  • Participate in and comply with all Health, Safety, Quality, and Lean initiatives and requirements.
  • Complete all job duties safely and wear all required PPE.
  • Assist in other duties to support operations as requested by supervisor or manager.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Inventory Management Systems.
  • Solid proficiency using MS Office software, particularly Excel and Outlook.
  • Ability to use basic measurement instruments such as tape measure, scales, and gauges.
  • Ability to read and write English and perform basic math problems.
  • Proven high level of attention to detail and accuracy in written work and data entry.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb, reach and lift up to 40 lbs. with or without accommodation.
  • Obtain and maintain current certification to operate material handling equipment.
  • College coursework leading toward completion of at least a 2-year degree.
  • Knowledge of all database programs used and their impact on material control functions.
