About the position

As a Material Controller II at Worley, you will play a crucial role in the management and control of materials necessary for construction and installation projects. Your primary responsibilities will include reviewing blueprints and product specifications to accurately determine the amount of materials needed for various projects. You will document the overall material needs, ensuring that all codes, brands, and contact information are accurately processed for orders. This position requires a keen understanding of engineering documents and the ability to collaborate closely with the engineering team to ensure that material requirements are met efficiently. In this role, you will assist in the maintenance and operation of a materials control system for the site, which includes the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment. Your efforts will support construction and installation activities, ensuring that relevant services are provided to Worley and its clients. You will be expected to work with minimal supervision, planning your own work and accomplishing varied and complex tasks. Your experience and judgment will be essential in navigating changing priorities and situations, allowing you to effectively plan and accomplish your goals. The position requires a university degree or equivalent in a related field, along with typically 5+ years of relevant experience. You will be working under minimal supervision, with the ability to assign activities and provide technical guidance to a few staff members for common projects. Proficient communication skills are essential, as you will need to convey ideas and concepts clearly. You will also be expected to continue developing your ability to influence participation in the preparation and delivery of proposals, presentations, and reports. A strong understanding of systems, processes, and tools related to the field will be necessary, as you will assist others and troubleshoot issues as they arise.

Responsibilities

Requirements
