About the position

The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a need for a Material Coordinator - Mobile Maintenance/Fleet Management to support our government customer located in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. This position involves various responsibilities related to mobile asset tracking, maintenance scheduling, work orders, data collection, fleet usage, repairs, and logistics readiness. The coordinator will be responsible for maintaining both hard copy files and an electronic mobile asset database, dispatching mobile fleet, tracking license plate requirements, performing inspections, and assisting with inventory management. The role requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team, while adhering to policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct mobile asset tracking and yearly maintenance scheduling.
  • Manage work orders and data collection related to fleet usage and repairs.
  • Maintain hard copy files and an electronic mobile asset database.
  • Dispatch mobile fleet monthly using internal and external procedures.
  • Track DoD and GSA license plate requirements and expiration dates.
  • Document mileage, fuel consumption, and other required data for fleet usage.
  • Perform on-site mobile asset inspections and document findings.
  • Assist with fleet key and fuel key inventory management.
  • Perform database entry and cataloging within the Defense Property Accountable System (DPAS).
  • Follow directions from Supervisor and Government Leadership while working independently and as part of a team.
  • Support customer schedules for repairs and annual requirements.
  • Track monthly vehicle usage using internal procedures.
  • Maintain records for accountability and audit standards.
  • Deliver excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
  • Identify safety concerns and report to Supervisor and stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate files and provide documentation to Government Lead when requested.
  • Assist with monthly data reporting for tracking purposes.
  • Ensure all administrative functions and paperwork are completed on time and in the required format.
  • Maintain a clean and safe worksite while performing job duties.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of Fleet Management Experience, Associates of Arts Degree, and active CLASS C Driver's License.
  • OR Minimum of 4 years of Fleet Management Experience, High School Diploma/GED, and active CLASS C Driver's License.
  • OR Served in the US Military with a Logistics - Military Occupation Specialty (MOS) in a related capacity for a minimum of 3 years, and active CLASS C Driver's License.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to pass a NAC background check.
