Material Coordinator

About the position

The position is responsible for managing the material flow to various production lines, ensuring that materials are accurately pulled, placed, and accounted for using SAP transactions. The role involves coordinating with receiving clerks, organizing stock, and conducting inventory audits to maintain efficiency and accuracy in the supply chain process.

Responsibilities

• Pull and place materials for production as required.
• Make all SAP transactions to ensure material accuracy using a barcode scanner.
• Move QA Hold material from production lines to assigned QA locations.
• Pull and package materials being sent to suppliers.
• Coordinate and communicate with receiving clerks to provide requested materials to manufacturing areas.
• Rotate stock as required for efficiency.
• Organize stock for efficient retrieval and placement.
• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits as requested by Supply Chain Management.

Requirements

• High school graduate or GED.
• Ability to read and comprehend safety procedures and work instructions.
• Strong work ethic and good verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated good interpersonal skills and self-motivation.
• Proficiency in SAP and ability to operate a computer.
