About the position
The Material Handler position at US Tool Group involves managing the handling, packaging, and shipping of industrial products and materials in a warehouse environment. The role is crucial for ensuring efficient supply chain operations and requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate material handling equipment.
Responsibilities
- Pull, package and load material
- Prepare shipping documents
- Account for all incoming and outgoing materials
- Communicate with lead and/or supervisor to resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Complete reports for daily cycle counts
- Inventory of received material, including entry into Company ERP systems
- Fill special requests
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Material handling experience in a warehouse environment
- Good communication skills
- Working knowledge of windows-based operating systems and software
- Knowledge of industrial cutting tool and MRO materials
- Ability to learn various computer software
- Ability to operate a forklift or pallet jack
- Shipping and Receiving experience
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
