About the position
The Material Handler 2 position at our client's manufacturing facility in Morgantown, PA, involves operating machinery and equipment used in the processing of titanium materials. The role focuses on ensuring safe and efficient production processes while maintaining equipment and performing necessary checks on mobile machinery.
Responsibilities
- Set up, run and trouble-shoot machinery used to process titanium revert and create blends for EB/Plasma melting.
- Assist with maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment as needed.
- Operate and perform preventative checks on forklifts, front-end loaders and other equipment to load, unload and transport supplies, materials and equipment.
Requirements
- Experience using mobile equipment highly preferred.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
- Detail-oriented individual with good organizational skills.
- Must be able to lift up to 35lbs.
