About the position
Central Storage & Warehouse (CSW) is seeking a Forklift Operator for the 1st shift at their Franksville warehouse. This full-time position offers an hourly wage of $22.50 and involves operating material handling equipment in a refrigerated environment. The role is essential for ensuring the safe loading, unloading, and organization of products, contributing to the overall efficiency of warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate material handling equipment (forklift) in refrigerated warehouse
- Load and unload products from delivery trucks using appropriate equipment
- Carefully handle fragile merchandise and record any damaged products
- Track and document shipment arrival and departure times
- Prepare all orders for shipment
- Tag and label merchandise
- Organize and palatalize product in accordance with relevant procedures and standards
- Enter data in inventory and logistics software programs
Requirements
- Stand-Up Forklift experience
- Ability to be on your feet all day
- Comfortable working in a freezer environment in cold weather gear
- Basic math & computer skills
Nice-to-haves
- 1 year of Stand-Up Forklift experience (Preferred)
