Requirements

• Experienced forklift operation
• Demonstrated communication and listening skills
• Prior food manufacturing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Consistently handle sausage products according to specifications
• Utilize organizational and communication skills through the FIFO process
• Prepare equipment for use by utilizing detailed checklists for inspection and assembly
• Perform periodic wash-downs of equipment to prepare for different products
• Use SAP software functions for the department
• Maintain high standards of detail related to product specifications and quality
• Obtain forklift license and maintain a safe driving record
• Perform responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner
• Comply with USDA regulations, GMP, and safety rules at all times
• Communicate effectively with the team and work toward a goal without direct supervision
• Set personal and team goals to achieve superlative performance
• Collaborate with other Formulation and Packaging Members to obtain world-class results
• Learn the Trace Lean operation and complete necessary Result Blocks
• Participate in daily meetings and project teams
• Willingness to work overtime as production demands
• Meet customers' needs and expectations
• Complete all other duties as assigned
