About the position

As a Material Handler III at Bruker, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and accuracy of inbound freight, which is essential for maintaining production schedules. This position involves operating equipment, processing orders, and participating in inventory management, all while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Unload and process in-bound orders for receipt in SAP
  • Inspect inbound shipments for damage or defects; record discrepancies or damages and notify supervisor and/or purchasing personnel
  • Operate forklift, dolly/pallet jack to load and unload material
  • Review and pack orders for shipment
  • Process orders for shipment in standard courier system software e.g. FedEx, UPS
  • Monitor and order shipping supplies
  • Store sub-assemblies and raw materials in warehouse
  • Pick orders and material for other departments according to pick list and material requisitions
  • Assist with daily cycle counting and inventory accuracy objectives
  • Participate in internal and external audits as necessary
  • Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental standards
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-years related Warehouse experience required
  • Experience in fast pace technical manufacturing environment required
  • Must have a current and valid forklift certification
  • Working knowledge and ability to use Windows operating system and Microsoft based programs, i.e. Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Excellent clerical, data entry skills to maintain integrity of inventory accuracy in database, file records and perform routine audits
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to follow daily standard work instructions with minimal supervision, and general instructions on newly introduced assignments
  • Ability to resolve issues and make recommendations

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SAP Material Movement module is preferred
  • Knowledge of Export compliance regulations preferred
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
