The purpose of the Material Handler-Manufacturing Dept. is to move materials to designated areas. This role involves maintaining compliance with company and OSHA policies regarding operations and safety issues, including forklift operation and proper use of PPE. The Material Handler must understand and perform all procedures and equipment per training and attend all required training sessions, including safety training. Responsibilities include moving material efficiently with forklifts, loading and unloading materials, maintaining cleanliness and organization, and adhering to food safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) requirements. Employees are expected to report any contamination issues immediately to management.
