Material Handler - Night shift

About the position

The Material Handler position at Clarios involves managing the movement of raw materials and finished goods within a manufacturing environment. This role is essential for ensuring that production lines are supplied with necessary materials and that finished products are shipped out efficiently. The position requires adherence to safety protocols and participation in team meetings to enhance productivity and morale.

Responsibilities

• Receive and move raw materials and parts to prescribed departments and locations in a timely manner
• Load finished goods onto trucks for outgoing shipments
• Supply production lines with necessary materials when required
• Move miscellaneous scrap materials out of production areas to warehouse or yard
• Label and identify product correctly and move inventory via BES software
• Keep work areas clean and orderly
• Strictly adhere to all plant safety rules
• Take active part in group meetings to maintain safety, quality, and increase productivity and morale
• Perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment required
• Valid forklift license, or the willingness and ability to operate a forklift, is preferred
• Strong team player
• Must be able to multi-task in a heavy manufacturing hands-on environment
• Excellent verbal communication skills
