About the position
The Material Handler position at Aerotek involves managing inventory and preparing orders for shipment in a warehouse environment. Responsibilities
- Pull orders and prepare them for shipment
- Use an RF scanner to pick orders
- Pack orders into boxes for shipping
- Load and unload different transport items
- Record inventory statuses
- Ensure deliveries properly match purchase orders
- Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock
- Record location of inventory
- Report shortages
- Pull orders from inventory
Requirements
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50lbs+
- Flexibility during the company's start-up phase
- Comfortable standing in one spot for entire shift
- Willingness to work in various locations throughout the distribution center
