About the position

The Material Handler position at Ag Processing Inc (AGP) involves the loading and unloading of bulk materials, rail yard switching duties, and providing vacation relief. The role is essential for the shipment of products and requires physical labor and attention to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads materials into and from vehicles.
• Moves controls and observes gauges to measure, mix, and regulate chemical, liquid, or bulk solids transfer.
• Cleans and maintains equipment.
• Moves materials from storage or work site to designated area, using hand truck, forklift, pallet jack, or other device.
• Maintains inventory records.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Communication skills - must speak, read, and write English.
• This work is physical; physical labor required (standing, walking, bending, pulling, lifting, stairs, etc.).
• Organizational skill set, prioritize, and handle multiple work assignments.
• Able to understand manufacturing standards and specifications (math skills helpful).
• Follow AGP safety rules and policy.
• Flexibility to work - days, nights, weekends, and OT (Peak periods).
