About The Position
The position involves receiving, distributing, and storing products in designated, secure locations. The individual will prepare and maintain records of materials received and shipped, including transaction dates, locations, and other pertinent information. Responsibilities also include reviewing shipments for quality and accuracy, confirming shipping details, and expediting shipments that affect the manufacturing process schedule. The role requires transporting and loading materials, supplies, and finished goods, both manually and using hand trucks and skids. In case of issues, the individual will escalate matters to the Purchasing Department. Additionally, the position involves validating, approving, and entering packing slips into the ERP system, collecting and disposing of scrap materials, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment. The individual will also assist in cycle counting and wall-to-wall inventory, and perform other related duties as assigned.
