About the position

The Product Support Manager (PSM) at WMH is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing branch operations, driving sales and margin goals, ensuring exceptional customer service, and managing inventory and expenses. This position requires strong leadership skills to mentor and develop a team while collaborating across departments to achieve strategic objectives. The PSM will also engage directly with customers and maintain operational efficiency, making it a key role in the company's mission to provide total solutions in material handling.

Responsibilities

  • Set goals, plan, direct, train, and evaluate to fulfill department needs and empower employee growth.
  • Supervise comprehensive training in product knowledge, company protocols, and safety.
  • Collaborate across departments to craft and execute plans that increase sales targets and expand the customer base.
  • Engage directly with customers through various communication channels to ensure satisfaction.
  • Define clear, ambitious goals for the team, fostering a culture of accountability and development.
  • Maintain operational efficiency and uphold stellar housekeeping standards.
  • Deliver insightful weekly/monthly/quarterly progress reports using the WMH business system.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (required).
  • 5+ years of experience in strategic planning, team development, and operational efficiency.
  • Experience in Material Handling/Parts/Service Management or similar fields (highly preferred).
  • Valid driver's license (essential).
  • Relevant experience in product management and technical expertise in forklifts and material handling.
