About the position

The Material Manager Logistician at Bowhead is responsible for overseeing the life cycle of products from design to disposal. This role involves developing and executing logistical plans, managing material allocation, and ensuring the success of contracts. The Logistician must possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, maintain accurate records, and thrive in a fast-paced environment requiring excellent organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Point of contact for shipping/receiving parts for Radar Restoration.
• Plan and ensure GFE and GFM delivery to contractor locations as required.
• Track repairs using SWMS and manage data related to parts.
• Handle requisition processes and OM&S.
• Schedule and monitor workload through metrics and tools.
• Assist Task Managers in delivering A-condition radar equipment on time.
• Monitor FY workload inductions and process 1149's.
• Prepare presentation documentation and recommend improvements to program reports and strategic plans.
• Interface with Task Manager to track program asset status and workload planning.
• Monitor payback system between programs borrowing assets for fleet support.

Requirements

• An Associate's degree or a minimum of five (5+) years of experience in logistics.
• Understanding and application of logistics principles and standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts.
• Strong interpersonal skills and good judgment.

Nice-to-haves

• Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite.
• Experience with logistics management systems and tools.
