About the position
The Material Mix Room Operator position at NOV - Fiberglass Systems involves working in a manufacturing environment to ensure the safe and quality mixing of materials for composite piping systems and fittings. This full-time role is scheduled for day shifts, primarily from Monday to Thursday, and offers a steady work opportunity with excellent benefits.
Responsibilities
- Operates any equipment needed to perform job
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
- Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimum supervision
- Utilizes safe work habits
- Wears appropriate PPE
- Complies with all NOV Company policies, guidelines and procedures
- Complies with all HSE policies, guidelines and procedures
- Complies with all Quality policies, guidelines and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work in a factory environment with a large range in temperature changes
- Ability to work overtime and shift work as required
- Standing up to 12 hours daily
- Walking up to 12 hours daily
- Bending/Stooping up to 12 hours daily
- Repetitive Movement (shoveling/sweeping/fastening) up to 12 hours daily
- Lifting weights up to 50 lbs. regularly
- Push/Pull up to 12 hours daily

- Ability to adapt and be cross trained to learn all job duties as required
- Ability to learn technical repair and assembly guidelines and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to read drawings, instructions or repair, and assembly operations
