About the position

The Material Program Manager at Raytheon will support the Advanced Integrated Surface Sensors Portfolio, focusing on Next Generation Sensors programs. This role involves developing and executing material program plans, managing material budgets, and ensuring supplier performance in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will work closely with functional and program leadership to achieve program objectives and may require occasional domestic travel.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute Material Program Plans and Supplier Management Plans
  • Support all program, SBU, and company level financial requirements
  • Manage material budgets and report out via EACs on supported programs
  • Plan and execute sourcing decisions and support the Make/Buy/Where process
  • Assist with the generation of Supplier Statements of Work (SSOWs)
  • Generate Supplier Request for Information/Proposals/Quotes (RFIs/RFPs/RFQs) and understand supplier proposals/quotes
  • Generate and process Supplier New Add / Re-Activation requests
  • Drive Purchase Requisition generation & Purchase Order placement/management
  • Participate in supplier engagements and reviews to ensure supplier performance

Requirements

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship is required

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in business administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management or related field
  • Earned Value (EV) certified
  • Experience with Prime Contract Requirements and Statements of Work (SOWs)
  • Experience with Supply Chain, Production Control, and/or Procurement processes and requirements
  • Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • Ability to support complex product development efforts
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued TOP SECRET security clearance
