About the position

The Material Resources Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the mission of providing holistic services to individuals affected by unplanned pregnancy. This full-time position involves managing inventory, assisting clients with material selection, processing donations, and collaborating with volunteers to ensure the smooth operation of the Material Resources department.

Responsibilities

• Regularly stock the store and Men's Center closet with necessary materials such as diapers, wipes, clothing, and baby equipment.
• Monitor inventory levels and report low-stock items to the Material Resource Manager.
• Assist clients in selecting materials and checking them out using the POS system.
• Provide non-judgmental compassionate care and excellent customer service to all clients.
• Receive and process material donations, ensuring proper sorting and storage.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and assist in tracking material donations and client transactions.
• Build relationships with Material Resource Volunteers and support them in their roles.
• Support special projects, events, or campaigns related to material donations.
• Work at the Front Desk for 2-3 hours daily, assisting with client communication and covering for the Client Services Associate.
• Assist the Client Services team during construction and perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Experience with POS systems or willingness to learn.
• Ability to lift and move donated materials (up to 30 pounds).
• Reliable transportation for picking up items from stores or collection sites.
