About the position

Join our team as a Materials Coordinator at Vista Aircraft Maintenance Van Nuys. We are an FAA-approved Part 145 Repair Station dedicated to providing comprehensive aircraft maintenance services. With a complete range of nose-to-tail care, we specialize in airframe, powerplant, and avionics maintenance, inspection, and repair for the Vista fleet. Responsibilities

  • Generates and monitors maintenance quotes and estimates for inspections, maintenance, repairs, and alterations.
  • Maintain and update the shop schedule board to reflect ongoing changes.
  • Responsible for aircraft scheduling and shop loading reporting tools; produce reports for management.
  • Track and maintain KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) records.
  • Coordinate with the parts department to pre-order necessary parts and arrange service tools.
  • Organize work packages and lead pre-induction meetings for schedule maintenance packages.
  • Participates in daily crew lead meetings, discussing parts availability and factors impacting the maintenance schedule.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to monitor progress and ensure timely completion of priority tasks.
  • Stay updated on inspection requirements, parts costs, warranty statuses, and factors affecting pricing and aircraft downtime.
  • Provide accurate project status summaries and communicate with MX Control regarding budget and work approvals.
  • Performs final review of work order to ensure in terms of financial accuracy and performance. Confirming that all labor and parts are accurately billed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
  • Experience in Part 145 corporate aircraft maintenance preferred. Gulfstream (G200, GIV, GV, G550, G650), Cessna 750, Challenger 300, Embraer experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and computer skills.
