Responsibilities

• Facilitating movement of materials and supplies in accordance with project objectives and scheduling requirements.
• Operating forklifts, stake-bed trucks, standard pickup trucks, enclosed box vans, and various types of material handling equipment.
• Receiving, sorting, tagging, and routing the movement of maintenance equipment and building materials.
• Reviewing inventory lists to identify stock replenishment needs.
• Reporting unresolved material shortages in accordance with recommended stock quantities.
• Monitoring working conditions of tools, equipment, and machinery used by warehouse operations.
• Examining items received to verify part numbers and stock numbers.
• Rearranging stocking locations to maximize storage efficiency.
• Ensuring compliance with established workplace safety laws and procedures.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National.
• Must be suitable for federal employment, as determined by a background investigation.
• Must submit a resume and supporting documentation.
• Must obtain and maintain a valid state-issued driver's license.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment physical examination.
• Must possess or obtain an OSHA forklift certification.
