About the position
This position is located at the U.S Army Sustainment Command, 407th Army Field Support Brigade, Logistic Readiness Center, at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.
Responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming shipments.
- Verify quantities and types of items agree with shipping documents.
- Receive requests for issuing or shipping supplies and equipment.
- Prepare shipping documents.
- Operate a forklift with a load capacity of 10,000 pounds.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Completion of a pre-employment Physical Examination and an annual examination thereafter is required.
- Ability to frequently lift and carry items weighing up to 70 pounds and occasionally handle items over 70 pounds.
- Possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License.
- Pass and maintain forklift operator certification within agency mandated time frames.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless previously met requirements.
