About the position

The Materials Handler position involves supporting manufacturing operations by managing inventory and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The role requires performing various tasks related to the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials while adhering to established procedures and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform manufacturing support tasks post-training, following SOPs, cGMPs, and safety regulations.
• Receive and distribute inventory and general goods.
• Load and unload deliveries, organize stock on pallets, shelves, and refrigeration units.
• Manage gas systems, including weekly liquid nitrogen refills.
• Maintain inventory control in ERP systems and update during receipt, storage, and distribution.
• Conduct routine inventory counts and participate in annual physical inventories.
• Inspect incoming biopsy kits after training.
• Support additional manufacturing tasks as required.

Requirements

• Bachelors in Biology, Chemistry, or related field with proven knowledge of GMP standards.
• Ability to meet regulatory standards.
• Experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication skills.
• Skilled in operating material handling equipment.
• Strong organizational and teamwork abilities.
• Proficient in MS Office; ERP (Great Plains) knowledge is a plus.
