The Materials Management Associate plays a crucial role in the hospital's Materials Management team, focusing on inventory replenishment, control, receiving, and distribution of supplies and linen. This position requires collaboration with fellow associates and management to ensure efficient operations and support for patient care.

Responsibilities

• Inventory replenishment and control.
• Receiving and distribution of supplies and linen.
• Assisting fellow associates and management with their responsibilities.
• Maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe storeroom environment.
• Participating in the distribution of linen to hospital departments.
• Fulfilling Physician Request Cards for surgical cases.
• Reporting storeroom supply par levels to the Senior Associate.
• Employing FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory rotation practice.
• Responding to departmental requests in a timely manner.
• Maintaining inventory levels consistent with patient needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in a warehouse or healthcare distribution position is highly desirable.
• Proficient in the use of MMIS including 'Inventory Control,' 'Receiving,' and 'Stock Reorder' modules.
