About the position

The Materials Planner I at Pall Corporation is responsible for developing production and supply plans that align with forecasts, material availability, and manufacturing capacity. This role involves optimizing subassembly production and raw material supply plans, ensuring materials are ordered and available for manufacturing, and managing the shipping of finished goods to distribution centers. The position is integral to the Materials Management department and requires collaboration with various teams to ensure on-time delivery and efficient inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Develop production and supply plans based on forecasts and material availability.
• Maintain planning parameters in ERP systems to optimize production and supply.
• Ensure materials are ordered and available for manufacturing based on production schedules.
• Coordinate daily performance and production output to meet delivery commitments.
• Collaborate with Operations and Materials teams to drive schedule attainment.
• Communicate challenges and deviations to cross-functional teams for resolution.
• Monitor material supply and ensure efficient use of raw materials for continuous production.
• Prepare and release production work packages, maintaining all relevant dates.
• Utilize SAP for process optimization and inventory accuracy.
• Participate in weekly fulfillment meetings to review on-time delivery and recovery plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or Science preferred with 2+ years of experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or supply chain environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with ERP programs such as SAP or Oracle for scheduling and product availability.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
