About the position

The Materials Planner role at Belcan involves managing inventory and purchase orders to support production needs. This position is crucial for maintaining data integrity and ensuring efficient inventory management across various customer groups. Responsibilities

• Reassign inventory and purchase orders to sales orders.
• Transfer inventory to different aftermarket branch plants and Whole Goods.
• Manage and forecast inventory for over 5000 unique part numbers for different customer groups.
• Maintain data integrity at the item branch level in all branch plants.
• Serve as the primary contact for setting up transfers or answering questions on all parts assigned to you.
• Update suggested stocking levels, lead times, and stocking types as needed.
• Support production part needs by responding to buyer requests.
• Aid Sales Administrators in completing reassignment requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen
• High School diploma
• 2+ years of experience in supply/chain
• Strong attention to detail (small errors are costly in this role)
• Advanced Excel proficiency (must be able to do v and x lookup, pivot, etc)
• Needs an analytical mindset, will be required to review a lot of data and base decisions off data
• Must be self motivated/independent but still able to work well within a team
• Trustworthy to work remotely
• Experience with ERP systems preferred
• SQL experience preferred
