About the position
The Math Instructor/Tutor position at Mathnasium of Mill Creek offers a rewarding opportunity to teach and inspire students in grades 2-12. The role focuses on delivering individualized instruction using the Mathnasium Method™, fostering a love for math among students while providing a supportive and engaging learning environment. The position is part-time with flexible hours, primarily after school and on weekends, allowing instructors to balance their work with other commitments.
Responsibilities
- Teach/tutor in-center and online using the Mathnasium Method™.
- Work collaboratively with team members to deliver individualized instruction in a group setting.
- Assess students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions.
- Become proficient with digital educational materials and processes.
- Support the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment.
Requirements
- Passion for math and working with students.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Eagerness to learn and be trained.
- Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I.
- Ability to balance various ongoing tasks.
