About the position

Next Generation Leaders is a small independent tutoring company founded by classroom teachers, with locations in Culver City and Manhattan Beach. We are currently seeking Math Tutors to provide tutoring in pre-calculus, AP calculus, and physics for at least 10 hours per week. The position is part-time and available immediately, with hours primarily scheduled from Monday to Thursday, typically between 4:30 PM and 8 PM in Culver City. There may also be opportunities to add morning hours in the fall to accommodate homeschool and hybrid students. Additionally, all team members are expected to contribute some remote work and attend occasional Saturday sessions. As a tutor, you will be part of a small, highly professional team that includes the owner and CEO. The work environment is supportive and collaborative, allowing for both group instruction and one-on-one tutoring. This role is ideal for teachers with recent classroom experience in the Los Angeles area or for highly experienced tutors who have worked with small groups and understand various learning styles and curricular approaches. The position offers a strong sense of community, and tutors will have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with students over time.

Responsibilities

• Provide tutoring in pre-calculus, AP calculus, and physics.

Requirements
