About the position

The Maximo System Administrator will serve as a key resource for the Maximo Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) application, providing expert analysis and support for administrative functions. This role involves responding to end-user issues, managing integrations with the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application, and assisting with system upgrades and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Maximo System Administrator with Maximo System Administrative tasks.
• Provide Maximo application support to MWRA end users.
• Assist with planning and analysis for the next Maximo upgrade to MAS.
• Help with performance tuning of the Maximo application alongside the Maximo System Administrator and MWRA DBA.
• Work with the Maximo System Administrator and IBM vendor to implement recommendations.
• Troubleshoot, modify, and enhance MIF integrations to the MWRA ERP application.
• Assist the project team with the reintegration of the Maximo application to the future state ERP application in the cloud.

Requirements

• Four (4) year college program in management science, engineering management, computer science or related fields.
• Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in Maximo Systems Administration.
• Expertise in Maximo Asset Management and IBM Control Desk system administration.
• Experience with WebSphere Application Server (WAS) administration, configuration, and maintenance.
• Experience updating, building, and deploying Application Enterprise Archive (EAR) files.
• Experience with the Maximo Integration Framework (MIF), preferably with an ERP application.
• Experience with Maximo Autoscripting.
• Expertise with performance tuning and debugging the application.
• Experience with Oracle databases and stored procedure development.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Maximo upgrades to MAS.
