About the position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laser Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating laser cutting machines to produce high-quality components while ensuring adherence to safety standards and production specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, blueprint reading, and the ability to work with various hand tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate laser cutting machines to fabricate parts according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine machining requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance on laser equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize hand tools and other machinery as needed in the production process.
• Conduct quality inspections of finished products using micrometers and other measuring instruments.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve production efficiency.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in laser cutting or a related machining field.
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding technical specifications.
• Familiarity with micrometers, welding techniques, lathe operation, and Mazak operation is preferred.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing production needs.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with welding techniques.
• Experience with lathe operation.
• Experience with Mazak operation.
